About Rainbow Mutt Pet Care
Welcome!
I am Jada Hathaway the owner of Rainbow Mutt Pet Care. After losing my dog Lola to Leukemia in 2022 I missed having a dog around. I decided to take a jump into a new type of career in 2023 and work with animals which is and has always been my biggest passion in life. I've always pet-sat for friends and family throughout my life I realized I could make this into something of my own long story short it's a work in progress.
Experience
Other than just loving animals my whole life I walked dogs when I was eight years old after school, took care of my own family's pets (cats and dogs), took horse riding lessons throughout my life, and learned a lot about working on a farm during my teen years. Before moving to Scotland I worked part-time at an animal clinic as a kennel assistant working with pets right out of surgery, pets in wheelchairs, and providing lots of TLC to the ones scared and lonely. Animals are my passion and will continue to learn to provide the best care for each client I have.
The Future
I moved to Inverness Scotland in May 2024 to live with my husband and the business will be coming with me. I hope to network with other pet sitters, continue to further my education in animal welfare, and work to raise money for different animal nonprofits each year. I have a lot more in-store it might just be something way bigger than pet sitting and dog walking in the years to come.
